Definition, selection and delivery of the furniture and part of the decoration for several “lodge” flats at Chalets de Tueda.
Les Chalets de Tueda is a group of chalets 1.5 km from the centre of Méribel, one of the most beautiful resorts in the 3 Vallées, the largest ski area in the world. They are located near the Tueda forest, close to a protected natural area. An ideal location for a great mountain holiday experience, whether for winter sports or for enjoying nature in summer.
The Chalets de Tueda are perfectly suited to a resort renowned for its traditional architecture of wood and stone chalets. The project is the brainchild of French property developer 6ème Sens, which has specialised in top-of-the-range residential developments since it was founded in 1999.
6ème Sens has a reputation for working with renowned architects and designers. In the Chalets de Tueda project, Christian Rey-Grange, one of the maestros of mountain architecture, was at the helm. Particularly renowned for his traditional style, which incorporates local materials such as wood and stone, he has worked on numerous construction projects in French resorts.
Les Chalets de Tueda consists of ten ‘lodge’ flats, revealing a desire for total harmony with nature. The purchasers were seduced by the authentic, emotional design. Several of the new owners have entrusted Agence Amevet with the task of furnishing, decorating and, in some cases, even fitting out their flats, to match the interior lines, complement the noble materials and take the cosy style, with its discreet, reassuring charm, to its logical conclusion.
For Agence Amevet, the challenge was both to respect the general atmosphere of the development and to create as many different worlds as there were flats. A successful mission, if the owners’ testimonials are anything to go by. But behind the customer satisfaction lies a constant workload, combining creativity with the most operational tasks.
For Charlotte, Agence Amevet’s furniture project manager, working in tandem with Ségolène, an interior designer involved in some of the bespoke fittings, it all began with a meeting with the owners. Two moods were initially proposed: “Contemporary” and “Authentic”. These were proposals to start the dialogue, but logically they quickly came up against the interpretation of the terms. “Contemporary”, in particular, really doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone !
Then came the time for discussions, advice and the development of ambiences, culminating in specific proposals.
What followed was a whirlwind of action! Production of a ‘mini-catalogue’ for each flat, taking measurements, requesting quotes, placing orders, validating delivery times and logistics. Then, on the big day, delivery, installation, assembly and removal of packaging, if necessary…
Missin accomplished for Agence Amevet. All that’s left for its customers to do is settle into their respective living rooms, to enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

Chalets de Tueda, Méribel 73
“We didn’t want to furnish our flat ourselves because we’re too far from Méribel. On top of that, there are mountain issues that create accessibility constraints. So we called in Agence Amevet and we’re completely satisfied with our choice. From the very first meeting, the method and approach were clear. There was a real exchange of views. They showed us books with different styles to guide us. Then discussions helped us to refine our choices. Chacha, our contact, didn’t just say ‘yes’. When she didn’t agree, she let us know… Delivery delays, unavailable products, extra storage costs due to inflation, all were overcome… We arrived in the early afternoon for the delivery. We arrived early in the afternoon for the delivery and everything was in place, with decorations, candles and a little surprise… It was just like a TV show ! “
